Why International College Days should become part of your recruitment schedule:
Join a trusted university fair series with a 15+ year track record of connecting universities from around the world with students across Central Europe and Scandinavia.
You’ll Meet:
IB Diploma and European Baccalaureate students in their final years of secondary school
Primarily from international and bilingual schools, with high English proficiency
Families actively exploring undergraduate options abroad, often self-funded
School counselors who serve as key influencers in student decision-making
Students from host schools and dozens of other schools across the region
Why This Region?
Germany is Europe’s top sending country for higher education abroad:
Student mobility now exceeds pre-pandemic levels. Each year, approximately 135-139,000 German students study abroad
More than 9,200 study in the U.S. - with many others choosing Austria, the UK, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and a wide range of English-taught programs across Europe.
Vienna is home to a significant international school presence and an increasingly mobile student population:
With 15 international schools, 8 of which offer the International Baccalaureate (IB).
Interest in international study is growing among Austrian students, with over 26,000 enrolled at universities abroad in 2022 - up more than 22% since 2018.
Austria actively promotes international education and supports its students in gaining international experience through various government-backed initiatives & financial aid.
As an EU capital with a relatively low cost of living, Budapest has attracted international companies and families alike:
With 17 international schools, including 6 IB-accredited schools and many others offering the British or American curriculum
International education is highly valued by Hungarian students, and the number studying abroad has steadily increased in recent years - current estimates suggest that around 20,000 students, or 8% of the Hungarian student population, are enrolled at universities abroad.
Hungary consistently ranks among the top non-native English-speaking countries for English proficiency
